About

Sunday, June 14 – Sunday, June 21, 2026.

2026 Episcopal High School Summer Dance Intensive, an Immersion in Paul Taylor Repertory, directed by Constance Dinapoli with other Taylor alumni faculty. We can’t wait to bring you closer to the world of the Paul Taylor Dance Company, strengthen your creative voice, and foster connections to grow your community of teachers, mentors, and friends.

The Junior Intensive for ages 13-16, and the Senior Intensive, for ages 17-23, will consist of daily ballet and Taylor modern classes, learning selections from various dances within the Taylor canon, and enjoying afternoon explorations in Somatics, film, and composition.  In coordination with the Taylor Center for Dance Education. This program is fully residential and includes all meals and boarding.

The program is led by Constance Dinapoli, Episcopal High School’s Director of Dance. Constance has a deep and rich professional background in dance and teaching, from performing worldwide with the Paul Taylor Dance Company. She was a muse for Mr. Taylor, one of the most influential figures in American modern dance, and continues to serve as a répétiteur for the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, director of summer intensives in coordination with the Taylor Center for Dance Education, and faculty at the Taylor Center in NYC, and was an artistic director of the Taylor 2 Dance Company. Before joining Episcopal, she served as dance faculty at Johns Hopkins University Theatre Arts and Studies program, artistic coordinator of contemporary dance at the Peabody Preparatory, the Peabody Institute, an instructor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, an assistant professor in the School of Dance, George Mason University, guest faculty at the University of Maryland’s School of Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies, Sam Houston State University’s Dance Department, Dean College, and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and faculty at The Washington School of Ballet.

With a Master of Fine Arts from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Stanford University, Constance brings academic rigor to her artistic instruction. Her coaching philosophy emanates passion for the arts, musicality, and helps each dancer find their unique expressive voice.

Join us this summer for a week of transformative movement, learning from dance masters, and a fun experience with friends at the Episcopal Dance Intensive!

“Camp is not just a place; it’s an opportunity to find yourself in a non-graded, pressure-free, and welcoming environment. It’s where friendships develop, confidence grows, and memories that last a lifetime are created.”
